Speak with your GP about your concerns and about referral for a paediatric telehealth consultation.

If your GP feels it is appropriate a referral will be emailed or faxed to our office.

Our office manager will send you 2 forms for patient registration, billing and privacy. You will be informed about the fees.

Once these are returned an appointment will be made for the telehealth consultation, usually at your doctor’s office but at home or another site if preferred. Any queries can be answered by phoning our office.

A letter will be emailed to your family doctor summarising the consultation with recommendations. Medicare will be billed on line for the medicare rebate and your credit card will be billed for the remainder.

A short survey will be usually be emailed to you after your consultation to provide feedback and enable improvements of this new service. This will be collated  anonymously by the independent Centre for Online Health, University of Queensland.
